Speaker: Amanda Clark - Public Historian / See STL Tours Manager Join AIA St. Louis for the April Chapter Meeting featuring a one hour lecture by Amanda Clark of the Missouri History Museum exploring the history of women in St. Louis architecture, bringing greater visibility to individuals who have shaped, and continue to shape, the city’s built environment. The presentation emphasizes how access to education, professional opportunities, and recognition within the architectural industry has evolved over time. By placing local stories within broader social and professional contexts, the program highlights significant historic contributions and the ongoing development of roles and representation within architecture. The event will be held at HOK’s new St. Louis office, where attendees can enjoy views of the city while reflecting on its architectural history. Networking, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages will be available from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, followed by the presentation from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. We hope you’ll join us for an engaging evening of conversation, learning, and community.
