Speakers:  Eric R. Hoffman, AIA NCARB LEED AP Founding Partner patterhn ives, llc | Eric R. Hoffman, AIA NCARB LEED AP, is a leading architect and educator with over twenty-five years of experience. As a founding partner of patterhn ives, llc and in collaboration with numerous firms, Eric has designed and led a diverse range of award-winning cultural, civic, public and academic projects including the Walker Art Center with HGA & Herzog and de Meuron and the Saint Louis Art Museum expansion with HOK & David Chipperfield Architects. His commitment to design, innovation, mentorship and the environment was recognized with a National AIA Young Architects Award in 2013. As a Professor of Practice, Eric has taught at numerous schools across the Midwest including Washington University in St. Louis and is an influential voice shaping the future of architectural practice. With partners Anna Ives and Tony Patterson, Hoffman founded patterhn ives, a practice dedicated to Arts, Education and Community. Their work is known for being timeless, rigorously detailed, and carefully attuned to every site. Current work includes the John Goodman Amphitheater at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, and the Market Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas. Eric’s lasting relationships with clients, consultants, contracting teams, students and communities serve as his highest measure of professional success. |  A.J. Chivetta Co-Founder Selequity | A.J. is CEO and co-founder of Selequity, a consulting and technology company that assists businesses in finding solutions for long-term growth with multi-disciplinary approaches to business problems. Prior to founding Selequity, A.J. was a partner in the law firm of Armstrong Teasdale. As a lawyer, A.J. focused on helping companies grow through strategic changes, such as, entry into new markets or acquisitions in the U.S and abroad. A.J. worked with companies in a wide variety of businesses to manage complex transactions, merger integrations and overseas expansions. A.J. brings a unique perspective to companies in the real estate services, construction and design industries. With a background in architecture, A.J. focused much of his legal practice on these industries. In addition to his consulting and technology work, A.J. is a Professor of Practice at Saint Louis University School of Law where he teaches courses on the business and practical aspects of providing legal services in law firm and in-house settings. A.J. holds a B.A. with a major in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and has repeatedly been named in Best Lawyers in America. | 
Sue Pruchnicki, FAIA Managing Principal Bond Architects | Sue Pruchnicki, FAIA, is managing Principal of Bond Architects, a St. Louis-based practice. Founded in 1992, Bond Architects provides architecture, interior design, and planning services to a diverse range of markets in Missouri and Illinois. In addition to overseeing daily operations, Pruchnicki is leading the firm’s multi-phased ownership transition. She is guiding the firm into its next era as it moves from its founding owner’s leadership to a new team of partners. |
