The “Brown Bag” Code Series:  Safer + Simpler MO – Missouri Building Codes

This seminar will look at Safer + Simpler MO and the current legislation, SB 1431, for statewide building codes in Missouri. The presentation will examine why it is necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare at the state level, although enforcement will continue at the local level. It will note the codes included, the jurisdictions impacted and why. It will explain the state process for selection, adoption, modification and updating the codes. The discussion will focus on safeguarding the general public in the built environment. Learn all that and more in this presentation.
