Last year, we explored Design for Belonging and the role the built environment plays in shaping connection, inclusion, and community. This year, we continue that conversation by stepping inside a place where those ideas became reality.

Through the story of TRUST, a St. Louis destination that blends coworking, hospitality, art, and community, participants will explore how a shared vision evolved into an environment designed to bring people together. Structured as a four-chapter journey—Vision, Design, Community, and Future—the program examines how relationships, purpose, and intentional decision-making influenced every stage of the project's development.

Presented as a live interview, storytelling experience, and guided building tour, the program follows the project from its earliest conversations through design development, implementation, and everyday use. Speakers will discuss how architects, designers, operators, artists, and community partners worked together to translate values into physical space, balancing aesthetics, functionality, programming, and human experience.

Rather than presenting architecture as a finished product, this program reveals how meaningful places are created through collaboration, listening, and trust. Participants will leave with practical strategies for engaging stakeholders, aligning design decisions with community goals, and creating environments that strengthen connection, well-being, and long-term community impact.
