5:30pm - Networking

6:15-7:30pm - Program

The March Chapter meeting will be hosted by AIA St. Louis COTE and will be an interactive program focused on AIA 2030 Commitment. The goal is to encourage non-participatory regional firms to sign onto the commitment, by distilling common myths around the 2030 Commitment. The meeting will include a networking, happy-hour portion to begin. For the program, each of the speakers will be stationed at a myth-busting "booth". Program attendee's will be handed "passports" upon arrival/ check-in. There will be 8 booths and each booth will issue a passport stamp to visitors. To obtain CE units, each attendee must gather all 8 stamps and drop their passport off at the end of the evening, to confirm participation. The program will be kept moving with a buzzer/ bell to visit the next booth after 8 to 9 minutes; 2 hour program with 45 minutes for networking and 75 minutes for visiting the booths.

 Speakers:

  • Mary Ann Lazarus

Venue:

The 2.6 acre campus of the Missouri Foundation for Health headquarters, designed by HOK in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood (aka the Grove), is a great example of adaptive reuse, repurposing a former Iron works and two multi-tenant buildings to create a unified space and adds to the fabric of a neighborhood while promoting wellness, inclusivity and resiliency. The project is LEED certified and offers great indoor and outdoor spaces for MFH staff and tenants.
