This course will discuss design considerations of combining multiple roofing components and their impact on long-term system performance. Roofing membranes, methods of attachment, and deck options will be reviewed from both a cost and performance perspective. Attendees will also learn how integrated design decisions affect the installation and performance of a low-slope roof system, resulting in specifications with fewer change orders, more accurate bids, and improved long-term performance.
