As head of the Cummins Engine Company for 30 years, Mr. Irwin Miller reasoned that extraordinary buildings would help Cummins lure top talent to the rural Columbus, IN town. And, as such, architects I.M. Pei, Richard Meier, Robert Venturi, Eliel and Eero Saarinen, Harry Weese, and Deborah Berke, Ceasar Pelli were called to design corporate and civic buildings for small IN town. Speakers will be Tony Costello, FAIA & Steve Risting, AIA. Two hours, HSW.
