Member Firms (Firms on the AIA referral lists)
To become an AIA Member Firm, firm principals are required to pay Member Firm dues equal to: $80 for each registered architect, and $315 for each registered architect who is not a member of AIA. AIA National requires that firm principals may only join AIA if Member Firm status is maintained by their firm. The firm principal may or may not then maintain a personal membership as well and will also be recognized as an individual member in all AIA St. Louis listings. Sole practitioners with no other architects in their employee are considered a member firm. Only Member Firms will receive client referrals from AIA St. Louis. All members will be listed in the upcoming AIA St. Louis website. Supplemental dues are paid only on registered architects. Members will receive benefits through December 31, 2006. Membership is required at all three levels (National, State, and Local). |
